1.General provisions#

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) set out the rules for using the Im Paharan online platform (the “platform”). On the platform, members list clothing and other items, new or second-hand, for sale, search for items, communicate with each other and place orders.

The platform is operated by the following person: to be completed (“Im Paharan”, “we” or “us”). The operator’s full details — legal form, state registration number, taxpayer identification number (HVHH), address and contact details — are set out in the Legal Notice. Until the operating company is registered with the state, some of these details may not yet be completed.

This is a preliminary version of the Terms. It is currently undergoing legal review and may be revised. Any changes will be made as described in Changes to the Terms. The platform currently operates in demonstration mode, and no real money is involved (see Payment).

1.1Acceptance of the Terms#

You accept the Terms when you register, by a clear affirmative action: in the registration form, you tick the mandatory box yourself to confirm that you are 18 or older and that you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. The box is not pre-ticked, and an account cannot be created without this consent.

We keep a record of your consent: the type of document, its version, the date and an irreversible encrypted fingerprint (hash) of your IP address (the IP address itself is not stored in readable form).

Before registering and at any time, you can read the Terms in full on this page, save them on your device or print them using your browser’s save or print function.

When browsing the site without registering, you must also comply with the provisions of these Terms that concern use of the site (for example, the prohibition on disrupting the site or using its content unlawfully).

1.2Version, language and interpretation#

Date of this version: 08.10.2026.

The Terms are published in Armenian, Russian and English. The Armenian version prevails. The Russian and English versions are provided for information; in the event of any discrepancy between them and the Armenian version, the Armenian version applies.

The Terms are written in plain and intelligible language. Where a provision can be interpreted in more than one way, it is interpreted in favour of the consumer.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes the rights you have under the law of the Republic of Armenia, including consumer protection law.

If any provision of the Terms is held to be invalid, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

1.3Documents forming part of the Terms#

The following documents form an integral part of these Terms:

If any of these documents conflicts with these Terms, these Terms prevail, unless the provision of the other document is more favourable to you.

2.Definitions#

In these Terms, the following expressions have the meanings given below:

Platform
the Im Paharan website and all its features through which members publish listings, communicate and conclude sale contracts.
Operator, Im Paharan, “we”

Seller
a member who has published a listing to sell an item.
Buyer
a member who is placing or has placed an order.
Private individual
a natural person who sells or buys items for personal use, not in the course of a business.

Unless stated otherwise, time limits are counted in calendar days, Yerevan time.

3.The role of Im Paharan#

Im Paharan is an online platform that connects sellers and buyers. The sale contract is concluded directly between the seller and the buyer. Im Paharan is not a party to that contract: it is neither the seller nor the buyer.

Im Paharan performs the actions related to a sale in the name and on behalf of the seller, as the seller’s attorney under a contract of mandate (Article 782 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Armenia). By publishing a listing, the seller instructs Im Paharan to:

  • publish the listing and show it to buyers
  • receive offers and orders and pass them on to the seller
  • record the order statuses (shipment, receipt, completion, dispute)
  • once real payments are launched, receive the price of the item from the buyer in the seller’s name through a licensed bank or payment institution, and transfer it to the seller in the cases provided for in these Terms

Each order shows the seller’s name (username), so that the buyer always knows with whom they are contracting.

Under Article 416.2 of the Civil Code, the operator of a platform is not liable for obligations arising from contracts concluded between its users. Accordingly, Im Paharan:

  • does not own or store the items
  • does not inspect or check the items
  • does not guarantee the quality, authenticity, conformity with the description or lawfulness of the items, beyond the checks carried out as part of moderation
  • does not guarantee that the seller or the buyer will perform their obligations

The seller alone is responsible for their listing, the item and the proper performance of the sale. The buyer is responsible for complying with the terms of the order, including accepting the item and, once real payments are launched, paying the price.

At the same time, Im Paharan has its own obligations, for which it is liable as provided by law. We undertake to:

  • operate the platform with due care and diligence
  • provide clear and accurate information about prices, fees, time limits and procedures
  • handle reports and complaints within the time limits set out in these Terms
  • examine disputes between buyers and sellers impartially and take reasoned decisions
  • protect your personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy

4.Account#

To sell, buy, send messages and use other features of the platform, you need to create an account. The following rules apply when creating and using an account.

Age. Only a natural person aged 18 or over may create an account (Article 24 of the Civil Code). Minors may not create an account, including with the consent of their parents or other legal representatives. If it turns out that an account belongs to a minor, it will be closed.

One person, one account. Each person may have only one account. It is prohibited to create additional accounts, including to get around restrictions, or to create an account in the name of another person or using their details.

Accurate information. You must provide accurate and up-to-date information (email address, city, etc.) and update it if it changes. At present, to change your account details (for example, your email address), write to support@impaharan.am not yet active; a self-service feature will be added.

Username. Your username must not be offensive or misleading, must not imitate the name of another person, a brand or Im Paharan, and must not contain contact details.

Password security. Keep your password secret, do not share it with anyone and do not use it on other websites. Im Paharan will never ask for your password — not by email, not in a message and not by phone.

Activity on your account. You are responsible for actions taken with your account, except where they were taken by a third party through no fault of your own (for example, if you kept your password secret).

Unauthorised access. If you suspect that someone else has used your account or that your password has become known to third parties, notify us immediately at support@impaharan.am not yet active. To protect you, we may temporarily restrict the account, and we will inform you if we do so.

Your account is personal. An account may not be sold, given away, transferred or made available for use by another person.

4.1Private individuals and professional sellers (Pro)#

Both private individuals selling their own personal items (such as clothes they no longer wear) and verified professional sellers can sell on the platform. Occasional sales of personal items are not a business activity.

Under Article 15.1(4) of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Trade and Services” (HO-134-N of 24.11.2004), if you sell as an activity (for example, you buy items for resale or regularly sell a significant number of items), you must:

  • register as an individual entrepreneur or sell in the name of a registered company
  • issue electronic receipts to buyers as required by law
  • obtain verified professional seller status on the platform (see below)

Carrying on a business activity from a private individual’s account is prohibited.

Verification. Professional seller status is granted only after verification. The application is submitted on the Pro sellers and shops page and includes: the legal form (individual entrepreneur, limited liability company or other organisation), the business name, the taxpayer identification number (HVHH), the state register number, the registered address, the representative, a phone number and an email address, as well as an extract from the state register issued less than 3 months ago and an identity document of the representative. Im Paharan checks the application, as a rule within 1–2 working days, and approves it, asks for additional information or refuses it, stating the reasons.

Pro and Shop terms. The detailed conditions of professional seller status — levels and limits, documents, the obligation to keep data up to date, the “Official shop” badge, suspension and withdrawal — are set out in the Pro and Shop terms, which the professional seller accepts when submitting the application.

Levels and price. A professional seller chooses the “Pro”, “Shop” or “Shop Premium” level; the levels differ in the number of listings that can be online at the same time and the number of free bumps (see Service fee). Professional seller status is free during the launch period. If a paid subscription is introduced, it will be announced at least 15 days in advance and will apply only with the seller’s express consent.

Im Paharan may refuse, suspend or withdraw professional seller status if the documents are not provided, are not genuine or are out of date, if the details do not match the state register, or if the seller breaches these Terms or the law. While the status is suspended, the seller’s listings are hidden. Such a decision is reasoned and may be appealed as described in Moderation and on the Complaints and Disputes page.

Documents provided for verification are encrypted, are accessible only to the administrator and are deleted within the periods set out in the Privacy Policy.

In addition to these Terms, a professional seller must comply with consumer protection law, including the obligations to:

  • provide the buyer, before the contract is concluded, with the information required by law (their identity and contact details, the main characteristics of the item, the price, and the delivery and return conditions)
  • state clearly the condition of the item (new or used)
  • honour the 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract (Articles 24.4 to 24.9 of the Law “On Consumer Rights Protection”)
  • be liable for defects in the item as provided by law
  • issue electronic receipts

The platform tells buyers whether or not a seller is a professional seller (Article 37.2 of the Law “On Consumer Rights Protection”). Verified professional sellers are marked with a “Pro”, “Shop” or “Official shop” badge, and the listing page and the profile show a “Professional seller” box with their legal form, business name, HVHH, state register number, registered address, phone number and email address. A seller without such a badge is a private individual.

An individual entrepreneur may choose not to display their personal phone number and email address in that box; the buyer then receives them after placing an order.

The “Official shop” badge is shown only on items of brands for which the shop has provided, and Im Paharan has checked, an authorisation from the brand owner or its distributor.

When buying from a private individual, some consumer protection guarantees (for example, the 14-day right of withdrawal) may not apply (see Buyer’s rights).

5.Listings#

By publishing a listing, you undertake to comply with the Catalogue Rules and Prohibited Items and with the following rules:

  • You sell only an item that belongs to you (or that you are entitled to sell), that you actually have and that is ready for sale.
  • The description is honest and accurate: it states the item’s condition, size, brand (if known) and all defects (stains, holes, wear, parts that do not work, etc.).
  • The photos were taken by you and show the actual item for sale. Photos taken from the internet or belonging to others may not be used.
  • No recognisable faces appear in the photos, nor any personal data of other people (documents, addresses, phone numbers, vehicle registration plates, etc.).
  • The item is listed in the appropriate category.
  • The price is stated in Armenian drams and is genuine: a token or misleading price intended to attract buyers is prohibited.
  • One listing is for one item. Several items may be sold in one listing only as a bundle, where the contents of the bundle are clearly described and all the items appear in the photos.
  • Phone numbers, email addresses, social media accounts, external links and other contact details may not be included in a listing (in the text or in the photos).
  • If the item is no longer available (sold elsewhere, lost or damaged), you must remove or update the listing without delay.

Counterfeit goods, “replicas” and “imitations” may not be sold (see Intellectual property), nor may items prohibited by the Catalogue Rules.

Uploaded photos are processed: technical metadata (for example, location and device model) is removed, and the original file is not kept.

To prevent abuse, the number of listings that can be published within a given period is limited. For professional sellers, the number of listings online at the same time also depends on their level (see Service fee).

Im Paharan may hide or remove a listing that breaches these rules or the law, as described in Moderation; it will notify you and give reasons for its decision.

6.Concluding a sale#

A purchase on the platform follows these steps:

  1. The buyer views the listing. If they wish, they can ask the seller a question by message or send an offer; these steps are optional. Listings of professional sellers offered in several sizes or pieces are sold at a fixed price, without offers; the buyer chooses the size before ordering.
  2. If the seller accepts the offer, or if the buyer accepts the seller’s counter-offer, the buyer can buy the item at that price within 48 hours (see Messages and offers).
  3. The buyer goes to the checkout page, chooses the delivery method and, where necessary, enters the delivery address.
  4. Before confirmation, an order summary is displayed: the item, the item price, the service fee, the delivery cost and the total amount payable.
  5. The buyer confirms the order by pressing the confirmation (payment) button below the summary.

Correcting errors. Before confirming the order, you can check and correct the information you have entered: change the delivery method or address, go back to the previous page, or abandon the purchase simply by leaving the page. No obligation arises until you press the confirmation button.

When the contract is concluded. By publishing a listing, the seller offers to sell the item on the terms stated in the listing. The sale contract between the seller and the buyer is concluded when the buyer confirms the order. Once real payments are launched, the contract will be concluded when the buyer confirms the order and the payment is accepted.

Order summary. The details of a confirmed order (item, seller, price, fees, delivery method, date and statuses) are kept in My orders, where you can view, save or print them. Confirmation emails will be added.

Reservation of the item. Once the order is confirmed, the item is reserved for the buyer and can no longer be bought by other members.

Obligations of the parties. A confirmed order is binding on the seller: after the order, the seller may not demand a higher price, change the terms or suggest completing the transaction outside the platform. An order may be cancelled and the money refunded to the buyer in the cases provided for in these Terms (see Delivery and Buyer’s rights).

An order placed in demonstration mode is simulated. It creates no obligation for either the buyer or the seller to pay or to hand over the item.

7.Prices, service fee and delivery#

The item price is set by the seller. All prices are stated in Armenian drams (֏).

Service fee. For each order, the buyer pays Im Paharan a service fee of 150 ֏ + 5% of the item price, capped at 7 500 ֏. The percentage is calculated on the item price (or the accepted offer price), excluding the delivery cost.

The service fee is the remuneration for the platform’s services: placing and following up the order, handling disputes and support. Details of the calculation are on the Service fee page.

Examples at current rates (excluding delivery):

Item price: 2 000 ֏
service fee: 250 ֏; total: 2 250 ֏
Item price: 8 000 ֏
service fee: 550 ֏; total: 8 550 ֏
Item price: 50 000 ֏
service fee: 2 650 ֏; total: 52 650 ֏
Item price: 200 000 ֏
service fee: 7 500 ֏; total: 207 500 ֏

No commission for sellers. Sellers pay Im Paharan no commission on sales (0%).

Delivery costs, paid by the buyer:

Hand delivery (Yerevan)
free
Haypost
700 ֏
Courier
1 500 ֏

Total amount. Before you confirm the order, the total amount payable is displayed, showing the item price, the service fee and the delivery cost separately. Im Paharan adds no hidden or additional charges to it.

Paid options. Sellers may choose to use paid options (listing bumps, “Wardrobe spotlight”). Their prices and conditions are set out in Services and on the Service fee page.

Price changes. Im Paharan may change the prices of its services. New prices apply only for the future and do not affect orders already confirmed or services already activated. We will announce any increase in the service fee or in the prices of paid options on the site at least 15 days in advance.

8.Payment#

As at the date of this version, the platform operates in demonstration mode. No real money is involved: orders, payments, wallet balances and paid options are simulated, and no withdrawals from the wallet are possible. A permanent notice on the site says so.

An order placed, or a paid option activated, in demonstration mode creates no obligation to pay, to hand over an item or to provide a service. Demonstration amounts, including those shown in the wallet, have no real value and cannot be withdrawn, exchanged or claimed.

Real payments. Real payments will be launched through a licensed bank or payment institution. Before that, we will publish a new version of these Terms setting out the payment rules, including:

  • the payment methods and the payment service provider
  • how the item price is held until the buyer receives the item
  • the procedure and time limits for transferring money to sellers
  • how receipts and payment documents are issued
  • the procedure and time limits for refunds

The new version will apply to you only once you have accepted it. If you do not wish to accept it, you may close your account (see Closing your account).

No payment outside the platform. For a transaction started on the platform, it is prohibited to pay or to request payment outside the platform (in cash, by bank transfer, through e-wallets, etc.), or to suggest such payment. Payments made outside the platform are not covered by the platform’s dispute procedure or by the other mechanisms provided for in these Terms.

Im Paharan will never ask you, by message, email or phone, for your bank card details, SMS codes or passwords, and will never send you external links to “receive money”. Such a request is a sign of fraud: do not reply, and report the message with the “Report” button. Safety tips are on the Safety page.

9.Delivery and handover#

When placing an order, the buyer chooses how the item will be handed over:

  • Hand delivery (Yerevan): free. The seller and the buyer agree on the meeting place and time through the platform’s messages.
  • Haypost: 700 ֏.
  • Courier: 1 500 ֏.

Seller’s obligations. The seller must:

  • ship the item without undue delay and, for Haypost or courier delivery, no later than 7 days after the order
  • pack the item carefully so that it is not damaged in transit
  • ship or hand over exactly the item described in the listing
  • after shipping, mark the item as shipped on the platform and enter the tracking number provided by the delivery service (if one is provided)
  • keep the proof of postage until the order is completed
  • comply with the delivery service’s rules

Automatic refund. If an item to be delivered by Haypost or courier is not marked as shipped within 7 days of the order, the order is automatically cancelled and the buyer is refunded the full amount paid, including the service fee.

Confirming receipt. After receiving the item, the buyer should check it and, in My orders, press “Confirm receipt” or, if there is a problem, “Open a dispute”. Once receipt is confirmed, the order is completed and the money is transferred to the seller.

Automatic completion. If, within 3 days after the item is marked as shipped, the buyer neither confirms receipt nor opens a dispute, the order is automatically completed and the money is transferred to the seller. If you have not yet received the item within that period, open a dispute before it ends: the money stays blocked while the dispute is ongoing.

Hand delivery. The buyer checks the item at the meeting and confirms receipt on the platform at the time of handover. Do not confirm receipt until you have received and checked the item. If the item does not match the description, do not confirm receipt; open a dispute instead. Tips for a safe meeting are on the Safety page.

Items that may not be sent by post. Under Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Postal Communication” (HO-46-N), postal items may not contain, in particular, weapons, explosive, flammable and other dangerous substances, banknotes or perishable food. When shipping an item, the seller is responsible for complying with these rules.

Lost or damaged parcels. If a parcel is lost, does not arrive or arrives damaged, the buyer must open a dispute before the order is completed. The seller must provide proof of shipment (receipt, tracking number). The dispute is handled as described in Disputes.

10.Buyer’s rights and disputes#

Your rights depend on whom you buy from: a private individual or a professional seller. In both cases, the Im Paharan dispute procedure applies. This section does not limit the rights you have under the law.

10.1Buying from a private individual#

Sales between private individuals are governed by the provisions of the Civil Code on the quality of goods and their defects (Articles 485 to 493). The seller must hand over an item that matches the description and photos in the listing.

You may bring claims against the seller, in particular if:

  • the item received differs significantly from the listing (a different item, size, brand or condition)
  • the item has defects that were not mentioned in the listing
  • the item is counterfeit, although it was presented as genuine
  • the item was not received

The seller is not liable for defects that were stated in the listing or that the buyer was informed of before the purchase.

The 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract under the Law “On Consumer Rights Protection” concerns purchases from professional sellers. Whether it applies to sales between private individuals is currently under legal review. In any case, you can use the dispute procedure described below.

10.2Buying from a professional seller (Pro)#

When buying from a professional seller, in addition to the above, you have consumer rights under the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Consumer Rights Protection” (HO-197), including the right to:

  • receive full information about the seller, the item, the price, and the delivery and return conditions before the contract is concluded
  • withdraw from the distance contract within 14 days without giving reasons, in accordance with, and subject to the exceptions in, Articles 24.4 to 24.9 of that Law
  • if the item is defective, demand a replacement, a proportionate price reduction, repair of the defects or a refund, as provided by law
  • receive an electronic receipt

The “Professional seller” box on the listing page shows whom you are buying from: the business name, HVHH, state register number, address and contact details.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, inform the seller through the platform’s messages and write to us at support@impaharan.am not yet active, stating the order. We will help arrange the return. A dedicated returns feature will be added.

10.3Disputes#

If there is a problem with an order, the buyer can open a dispute in My orders by pressing “Open a dispute”. A dispute can be opened:

  • for Haypost or courier delivery: after the item is marked as shipped and before receipt is confirmed or the order is automatically completed (3 days after shipment)
  • for hand delivery: before receipt is confirmed

Describe the problem and, where possible, send evidence (photos of the item and packaging, delivery details) through your messages with the team on the site (“Help” section, “Write to the team”), stating the order. If your account is suspended and you cannot sign in, write to support@impaharan.am not yet active.

While the dispute is ongoing, the money stays blocked and is not transferred to the seller until the dispute is resolved.

Im Paharan examines the evidence and explanations of both parties, the content of the listing, the delivery details, and the messages that the parties themselves have provided. Each party is given the opportunity to state its position.

Following its examination, Im Paharan takes a reasoned decision and sends it to both parties. The decision may be:

  • a refund to the buyer (where necessary, on condition that the item is returned to the seller)
  • a transfer of the money to the seller

As a rule, the decision is taken within 10 working days of receiving the parties’ explanations. In resolving disputes, we apply these Terms and the law and act impartially towards both parties.

Appeal. If you disagree with the decision, you may appeal within 14 days by writing to the team from your account (“Help” section, “Write to the team”) or, if your account is suspended and you cannot sign in, to support@impaharan.am not yet active. Where possible, the appeal is examined by a different person from the one who took the original decision. Details are on the Complaints and Disputes page.

A decision by Im Paharan does not deprive the parties of the right to use mediation or to go to court (see Complaints, mediation and courts).

11.Im Paharan services#

Im Paharan provides the following services:

  • To buyers: placing and following up orders, recording order statuses, handling disputes and support. These services are covered by the service fee.
  • To sellers: free publication of listings, plus the optional paid options listed below.
Listing bump, 3 days
300 ֏. The listing is shown at the top of the “Newest first” sort order, labelled “Bumped” and “Ad”.
Listing bump, 7 days
600 ֏. Same conditions, for 7 days.
“Wardrobe spotlight”, 7 days
1 500 ֏. Your wardrobe is shown on the home page in the “Wardrobes in the spotlight” section, labelled “Ad”.

Professional seller status. Verified professional sellers receive free three-day bumps every month: “Pro” — 10, “Shop” — 30, “Shop Premium” — 100. The status is free during the launch period (see Private individuals and professional sellers and the Pro and Shop terms).

Professional seller status does not improve the ranking of listings. The free bumps that come with it are ordinary bumps and are labelled “Ad”.

In demonstration mode, paid options are simulated and no money is charged.

Right of withdrawal. As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract for services concluded with Im Paharan within 14 days, without giving reasons (Articles 24.4 and 24.9 of the Law “On Consumer Rights Protection”).

Because bumps and the spotlight take effect immediately, once real payments are launched we will, before activating a paid option, ask for your express consent to the service starting immediately and for your acknowledgement that you will lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided.

If you have not given such consent, you may withdraw within 14 days and we will refund the amount paid, keeping only the proportion corresponding to the service actually provided before withdrawal. To withdraw, write to support@impaharan.am not yet active.

If a paid option cannot be provided for reasons attributable to Im Paharan (for example, a prolonged platform outage), the amount for the part not provided is refunded.

Refund of the service fee. If the buyer is refunded for an order (automatic cancellation or outcome of a dispute), the service fee is also refunded in full.

Infant feeding products. Listings for infant feeding products (bottles, teats, etc.) cannot be promoted with paid options (bumps, spotlight), because the law of the Republic of Armenia (HO-177-N of 20.11.2014, Article 12) prohibits the promotion and advertising of such products.

12.Messages and offers#

Messages on the platform (text and photos) are intended for communication between members about a specific listing or order: questions about the item, offers, and arranging delivery or a meeting.

Offers. A buyer may send the seller an offer. The seller may accept it, decline it or make a counter-offer at a price between the offer and the listing price; the buyer may then accept or decline the counter-offer. An offer or counter-offer that is not answered within 48 hours expires. An accepted offer or counter-offer allows the buyer to buy the item at the agreed price within 48 hours of its acceptance, after which it expires. An accepted offer is not yet an order: the sale is concluded only when the buyer confirms the order (see Concluding a sale).

Photos. You can send photos in a conversation, for example to show a detail of the item. They are subject to the same rules as messages and listing photos (no recognisable faces, no personal data of other people, no prohibited content). Photos are processed and their metadata (including location) is removed.

The following are prohibited in messages:

  • insults, threats, harassment and intimidation
  • discrimination and incitement to hatred
  • spam and bulk or advertising messages
  • phishing, attempted fraud, fake links and attempts to obtain personal or banking details
  • suggesting or requesting payment or a transaction outside the platform
  • publishing or passing on third parties’ personal data without their consent
  • sexual content, unlawful content and incitement to unlawful acts

Confidentiality. The secrecy of messages is protected by Article 33 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia. Accordingly:

  • Im Paharan does not read your messages on its own initiative; administrators have no tool for doing so.
  • A staff member may view a message only if a participant in the conversation submits it themselves in a report or as evidence in a dispute, and only to the extent necessary to handle that report or dispute.
  • Each such access is logged (who, when and for what purpose).
  • The content of messages is disclosed to public authorities only on the basis of a court decision.

Automatic safety warnings. When a message is sent, the platform automatically checks its text for signs of a possible scam: bank card numbers, phone numbers or email addresses, links to other sites, and invitations to pay or to continue the conversation outside the platform. If such a sign is found, a safety warning is shown to the sender and to the recipient, and card numbers are masked. This check notifies no one in the team, does not lead to anyone reading the message and never results in a sanction by itself. Whatever the warning, never pay outside the platform and never give anyone your card details, SMS codes or passwords.

Anti-abuse limits. To protect against spam and abuse, the platform limits the number of messages, new conversations and offers within a given period (with stricter limits for new accounts). If a limit is exceeded, the action becomes temporarily unavailable and is then restored automatically.

Blocking a member. You may block another member at any time and unblock them later. While the block is in place, neither of you can start a new conversation with the other or make offers to the other, and you can no longer write to each other, except in your existing conversation while an order between you is in progress (paid, shipped, delivered or in dispute), so that it can be completed. Orders already placed continue normally and remain subject to these Terms. The blocked member is not informed of the block. Blocking is not a sanction: if a member breaks the rules, also report them (see How to report).

Reporting. If you receive a message that breaks the rules, use the “Report” button next to that message. The team can then read only that message, and every viewing is logged. The report is handled within the time limits set out in How to report.

13.Reviews#

Who can leave a review, and when. Only participants in an order completed on the platform can leave a review (Article 37.2 of the Law “On Consumer Rights Protection”). Once an order is completed, the buyer and the seller each have 7 days to review the other: a rating from 1 to 5, which is mandatory (no rating is preselected), and an optional comment of up to 1,000 characters. Each participant may leave one review per order. In demonstration mode, orders are simulated, so reviews do not relate to real paid purchases.

Blind publication. A review becomes visible only once both participants have left their review, or at the end of the 7 days. Neither participant can see the other’s review before giving their own. A review can be edited for 24 hours after it is sent, as long as it has not yet been published; after that, it can no longer be changed.

A review must be:

  • honest and based on your own experience of the transaction
  • factual and relevant (the item, communication, delivery)
  • free of insults and false statements of fact (Article 1087.1 of the Civil Code)
  • free of personal data (phone number, address, names of other people)
  • free of blackmail: it is prohibited to demand or promise a positive review in exchange for any benefit, to threaten a negative review, or to “swap” reviews
  • free of contact details: a review containing a phone number, an email address, a link or a bank card number is refused when it is sent

Automatic reviews. In two cases, the platform gives the seller an automatic review, clearly labelled as such: (a) if, at the end of the 7 days, the buyer has not reviewed the seller and the order was completed without a dispute, an automatic 5-star review for a sale completed without any problem; (b) if an order is refunded because the seller did not ship it within the time limit, an automatic 1-star review for an order not shipped. Automatic reviews count towards the average rating, and the profile shows how many of the reviews are automatic. If you believe an automatic review was given by mistake, report it or contest it by writing to the team from your account.

Display and reply. The profile shows the average rating, the breakdown of ratings from 1 to 5 and, for each review, whether it was received as a buyer or as a seller and the item concerned. The person reviewed may reply publicly to a review once, in up to 500 characters; the reply can no longer be edited afterwards and must comply with the same rules as reviews.

Im Paharan does not write, buy or edit the reviews of members and, apart from the automatic reviews described above, publishes no reviews of its own. We do not hide a review merely because it is negative.

Reporting a review. Every review has a “Report” button (fake review or fake transaction, insults, personal data, blackmail or swapping of reviews, no connection with the order). Moderators handle reports within the time limits set out in How to report. Im Paharan may hide or remove a review only if it is manifestly unlawful or breaks these rules. A review is hidden with a stated reason; its author is informed and may appeal as described in Moderation. Hidden or removed reviews are kept for at least 6 months in case of disputes.

14.Ranking and advertising#

Search results and lists of listings show only listings that are for sale. They are ordered as follows:

  • “Relevance” (default when you have typed words): by how well the listing matches your words; when relevance is equal, bumped listings (labelled “Ad”) come first, then newer listings.
  • “Newest first” (default when you have not typed words): first the bumped listings labelled “Ad”, up to 12, starting with the most recently bumped, then all other listings from newest to oldest.
  • By price (low to high or high to low): strictly by price, with no paid advantage of any kind.
  • “Most popular”: by the number of additions to favourites, then by the number of views and by date, with no paid advantage.
  • Filters (category, brand, size, colour, material, condition, price, seller type, city) only narrow the results and do not change their order.

The home page shows, in particular, the main banner (bumped listings first, then a random selection of recent listings with a photo), “Popular right now” (listings ranked by their activity over the last 7 days, with bumped listings in fixed positions), listings from the sellers you follow, recently viewed listings (a list kept only in your browser), the paid “Wardrobes in the spotlight” section (in random order) and “Fresh items”.

Ranking is not personalised: we do not build a profile of you, and for the same search with the same filters everyone sees the same order (apart from the random selections on the home page). Professional seller status, a seller’s rating and how long they have been a member do not improve ranking; the free bumps that verified professional sellers receive are ordinary bumps, labelled “Ad”.

Paid placements are always labelled. Any placement obtained in return for payment (bumped listing, “Wardrobe spotlight”, advertising banner) is labelled “Ad” (Article 37.2(4)(13) of the Law “On Consumer Rights Protection”).

Details, including the exact rules for the home page, are on the Ranking of listings page.

15.Reports, moderation and restrictions#

Im Paharan is not required to monitor members’ content generally (Article 780.1 of the Civil Code), but it responds to reports and takes action when it becomes aware of a breach of the rules or of manifestly unlawful content.

15.1How to report#

Members can report a listing, a profile, a shop page, a message or a review that breaks the rules with the “Report” button, shown on every listing, profile and shop page, next to every message received and on every review: choose the reason from the list and, where necessary, add details. To report anything else, write to the team from your account (“Help” section, “Write to the team”). People without an account, or whose account is suspended, can write to support@impaharan.am not yet active. In a written report, please include:

  • a link to the listing or page (or the username)
  • a description of the breach and the reason for your report
  • where possible, evidence (screenshots)
  • your contact details for our reply (if you are writing by email)

For notices of intellectual property infringement, see Intellectual property.

We handle reports within the following internal time limits:

Urgent cases (danger to children, weapons, drugs, danger to life or health)
the content is hidden immediately as a precaution, and the report is handled within 24 hours
Prohibited items, counterfeits, fraud
within 48 hours
Other cases
within 5 working days

You are informed of the decision on your report in your messages with the team (“My messages with the team”).

Knowingly false or malicious reports are a breach of these Terms.

15.2Grounds for action#

Im Paharan may take action where it is reasonably established that:

  • a listing concerns an item prohibited by the Catalogue Rules
  • an item is counterfeit or infringes the intellectual property rights of others
  • fraud or attempted fraud has occurred
  • payment outside the platform has been suggested or requested
  • unlawful, offensive, hateful, violent or sexual content has been posted
  • a member is harassing, threatening or insulting other members
  • an account is fake, was created using another person’s details, or is a duplicate
  • an account belongs to a minor
  • a seller repeatedly fails to fulfil orders or ships items that do not match the description
  • a business activity is being carried on from a private individual’s account
  • a professional seller has provided false or out-of-date information or documents
  • fake reviews or fake orders are created, or the ranking is artificially manipulated
  • attempts are made to disrupt the operation or security of the platform (for example, automated mass data collection or exploitation of vulnerabilities)
  • there are other serious or repeated breaches of these Terms

15.3Measures#

Measures are proportionate to the seriousness, repetition and consequences of the breach:

  1. a warning
  2. hiding or removing content (a listing, one of its photos or a review)
  3. temporary restriction of certain features: a ban on publishing new listings, on contacting other members (replying in existing conversations and fulfilling orders remain possible), or on placing new orders and making offers
  4. temporary suspension of the account
  5. closure of the account

Listing hidden for correction. In the event of a minor error that does not call for a sanction (for example, a wrong category, unsuitable photos, an inaccurate title or a manifestly wrong price), a listing may be hidden without any sanction. The seller is told what needs to be corrected, and the listing goes back online as soon as the seller edits it.

In serious cases (for example, fraud, unlawful content involving children, sale of weapons or drugs), an account may be closed without prior warning.

In urgent cases, content or an account may be temporarily hidden immediately until the examination is complete. This is a precautionary measure, not a final decision.

If an account is suspended or closed, ongoing orders are completed or the money is refunded to the buyer, so that the party acting in good faith does not suffer.

15.4Notification of decisions and appeals#

We notify the member concerned of any measure taken, as a rule on the site in their messages with the team, stating:

  • the facts on which the decision is based
  • the rule that was breached
  • the measure taken and its duration
  • how to appeal

The person who made the report is also informed of the decision on their report.

We do not apply “hidden” restrictions: we do not secretly reduce the visibility of your listings or restrict your account without notice. Notification may be postponed only where required by law or by a competent authority (for example, to preserve the confidentiality of criminal proceedings).

Appeal. You may appeal a decision within 14 days of receiving the notice, by replying to it in your messages with the team (or, if your account is suspended and you cannot sign in, by writing to support@impaharan.am not yet active) and setting out your arguments. Where possible, the appeal is examined by a different person from the one who took the original decision. We reply with a reasoned decision within 10 working days. An appeal does not affect your right to go to court.

Retention of evidence. Removed content and the records of reports and decisions are kept for at least 6 months, and longer in the event of criminal or court proceedings, for the periods set by law.

15.5Reporting to law enforcement#

Where the law so requires, we inform the law enforcement authorities, in particular:

  • of crimes listed in Article 473 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (HO-199-N of 05.05.2021) that we know with certainty are being prepared or attempted
  • of suspected violence against, or exploitation of, a child (Article 29(2) of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on the rights of the child, HO-364-N of 22.10.2025)

We respond to requests from law enforcement authorities only on the grounds and in the manner provided by law, after checking the legal basis of the request. The content of messages is disclosed only on the basis of a court decision (Article 33 of the Constitution).

16.Liability#

Im Paharan is liable for failure to perform, or improper performance of, its own obligations in accordance with the law of the Republic of Armenia.

Im Paharan is not liable:

  • for obligations arising from contracts between members (Article 416.2 of the Civil Code), including for the quality of an item, its delivery or payment of the price
  • for content posted by members, except where we knew or should have known that the content was manifestly unlawful and did not act within a reasonable time (Article 780.1 of the Civil Code)
  • for the acts of third parties that we do not control (for example, delivery services or internet providers)

These Terms do not limit or exclude the liability of Im Paharan:

  • for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence
  • for harm to a person’s life or health
  • where limiting liability is prohibited by law, including by Article 11.1 of the Law “On Consumer Rights Protection”

Availability of the service. We take care to keep the platform running smoothly but cannot guarantee that it will always be available. Operation may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance, updates, security measures or outages beyond our control. Where possible, we will announce planned work on the site in advance. If an interruption prevents an order time limit from being met, we will take this into account and give the parties a reasonable extension.

Member’s liability. You are liable, as provided by law, for the content you post, the transactions you conclude and any breach of these Terms. If a third party brings a claim against Im Paharan as a result of your breach of the Terms or the law, you must compensate Im Paharan for the resulting loss, in the manner and to the extent provided by law.

17.Intellectual property and use of content#

Im Paharan’s intellectual property. The Im Paharan name, logo, site design, texts and software belong to the operator and are protected by law. They may not be used without written permission, except for normal use of the site.

Your content. You keep the rights to the photos and texts you post. By posting content, you confirm that you created it or have the right to use it, and that it does not infringe the rights of others (copyright, trademarks, privacy).

Licence. By posting content, you grant Im Paharan a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it solely to operate the platform, namely to:

  • store and reproduce it on our servers and in backups
  • adapt its format (for example, resize, convert or compress a photo, or remove metadata)
  • display it on the site, in search results and in previews generated when a link is shared (for example, when a link to a listing is sent through a messaging app)

The licence lasts for as long as the content is published and afterwards for the retention periods set by law and by the Privacy Policy. We will not use your photos or texts in advertising outside the platform (for example, on social media or in advertising campaigns) without your separate consent.

Counterfeits. It is prohibited to sell counterfeit goods, that is, goods bearing a trademark used without the right holder’s permission (Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Trademarks”, HO-59-N), as well as “replicas”, “imitations” and illegal copies. Do not use a brand name if the item is not from that brand (including in phrases such as “… style” or “like …”).

Notices from right holders. If you own a trademark, copyright or other intellectual property right (or represent the owner) and believe that a listing infringes that right, send a notice to legal@impaharan.am not yet active, stating:

  • your name (or company name) and contact details and, if you are a representative, details confirming your authority
  • the right infringed (for example, the trademark registration number)
  • the link to the infringing listing
  • a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised and that the information in the notice is accurate

We examine the notice within 48 hours, hide the listing where necessary and inform the seller, who may submit objections. In the event of repeated infringements, the seller’s account is closed.

18.Personal data#

How we process your personal data is described in detail in the Privacy Policy. The key points are:

  • We process the data needed to perform these Terms, that is, the contract concluded with you (account, listings, orders, messages, disputes), in accordance with Article 9(4)(2) of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Personal Data Protection” (HO-49-N of 18.05.2015).
  • Consent to receive promotional emails is separate and optional: you may refuse it or withdraw it at any time, without any effect on your use of the platform. No promotional emails are currently sent.
  • Only the data needed for a transaction is shared with the other party (for example, the delivery address with the seller).
  • You may use the other party’s data only for that transaction; using it for other purposes or passing it on to third parties is prohibited.
  • For verified professional sellers, the information required by law (legal form, business name, HVHH, state register number, registered address and contact details) is shown publicly to buyers; the documents provided for verification are never published (see the Privacy Policy).
  • You have the right to access your data, to request its correction, blocking or destruction, and to withdraw your consent, by writing to privacy@impaharan.am not yet active.
  • You may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency.

19.Changes to the Terms#

We may amend these Terms, for example when introducing new features (including real payments), when the law changes or following the legal review.

We announce changes at least 15 days before they take effect, on the site and, once sending emails becomes possible, also by email. The notice states the main content of the changes and the date on which they take effect.

For material changes (for example, new fees, changes to your rights or obligations, or the introduction of payment rules), we will ask for your new consent.

If you do not agree with the changes, you may close your account before they take effect, without any charge or penalty. Ongoing orders will be completed under the previous terms.

Changes required by law or needed to address an urgent security threat may take effect sooner. In that case, we will inform you as soon as possible and explain why.

Changes have no retroactive effect: orders already confirmed and services already activated remain subject to the terms in force when they were confirmed.

Previous versions of the Terms are kept and provided on request at support@impaharan.am not yet active.

20.Complaints, mediation and courts#

If you are dissatisfied with a service or decision of Im Paharan, please contact us first at support@impaharan.am not yet active. We acknowledge receipt of a complaint within 2 working days and send a reasoned reply within 10 working days. Details of the procedure are on the Complaints and Disputes page.

For a problem with an order from a seller, use the dispute procedure.

Mediation. The parties may settle a dispute through voluntary mediation under the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Mediation” (HO-351-N). Mediation is voluntary and does not limit the right to go to court.

Public authorities. You may also contact:

  • the Competition Protection Commission of the Republic of Armenia, in the event of a breach of consumer rights
  • the Personal Data Protection Agency, on matters relating to the processing of personal data

Courts. Disputes that are not settled by negotiation are heard by the courts of the Republic of Armenia in accordance with the rules of jurisdiction established by law. These Terms do not impose any particular court and do not limit a consumer’s statutory right to go to court.

Governing law. These Terms and the relationships arising from them are governed by the law of the Republic of Armenia, without prejudice to the mandatory rules that apply to consumers by law.

Language. The Armenian version of the Terms prevails (see Version, language and interpretation).

21.Closing your account#

You may close your account at any time, without giving reasons and free of charge. At present, to do so, write to support@impaharan.am not yet active or privacy@impaharan.am not yet active from the email address linked to your account. A self-service feature will be added.

If you have ongoing orders (as a buyer or seller) or open disputes, the account will be closed once they are completed.

After your account is closed:

  • your listings are removed from the site
  • your profile is deactivated and is no longer visible to other members
  • your data is kept only for the periods and purposes required or permitted by law (Privacy Policy); for example, information about a seller is kept for at least 1 year after the account is closed (Article 780.1 of the Civil Code)
  • demonstration wallet balances have no real value and are not compensated

Closure by Im Paharan. Im Paharan may suspend or close an account in the event of a serious or repeated breach of the Terms, on the grounds and following the procedure set out in Moderation (with notice, reasons and a right of appeal).

Discontinuation of the service. Im Paharan may discontinue the platform entirely by giving at least 30 days’ notice. In that case, ongoing orders will be completed or the money refunded, amounts paid for services not yet provided will be refunded pro rata, and you will be able to request a copy of your data at privacy@impaharan.am not yet active.
