About Im Paharan

1.Who we are#

Im Paharan is an Armenian online platform where people buy and sell clothes, shoes, accessories and other items, new or second-hand, to and from each other.

“Im Paharan” (Իմ պահարան) means “my wardrobe” in Armenian. The name is no accident: we all have clothes in our wardrobe that we no longer wear but that could still make someone else happy. Here you open your wardrobe to others and find things in theirs.

We do not sell anything ourselves: we connect sellers and buyers and work to keep every deal simple and clear (How It Works).

2.Why we do it#

• A second life for things: a good item should not sit unused in a wardrobe for years or end up in a landfill.
• More responsible consumption: buying second-hand means buying less new and leaving less waste.
• Affordable fashion: good-quality, interesting items at more affordable prices.
• Simple selling between neighbors: list an item, agree with the buyer and hand it over — no unnecessary hassle.
• Armenian first: the site is built for Armenia; Armenian is its main language, while Russian and English help everyone else.

3.Our principles#

• 0% commission for sellers: the seller receives the full item price.
• Prices shown upfront: buyers see the service fee and the total before buying (Service Fee and Prices).
• Transparent ranking and advertising: we explain how listings are ordered and label every paid placement “Ad” (How Listings Are Ranked).
• Respect for personal data: we collect only what is necessary, use no advertising trackers and never read your private messages on our own initiative (Privacy Policy).
• Security: encrypted connections, passwords never stored in plain text, location data removed from photos, encrypted backups (safety tips).
• Compliance with Armenian law: we operate in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.

4.Where we are now#

• The site runs in demonstration mode: no real money changes hands (details).
• The company that runs the site is being registered in Armenia. Its details will be published on the Legal Notice page as soon as it is registered.
• Our legal documents are provisional versions and are being reviewed. We will announce any significant changes in advance.
• The site is hosted on a rented server located in France. Connections to the site are encrypted (HTTPS).
