1.Our commitment#

Im Paharan aims to make its website accessible to everyone, including persons with disabilities, older people, and those who use a screen reader, a keyboard only, or screen magnification.

We are guided by Article 16 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities No. HO-194-N of 05.05.2021, which requires information and digital tools to be made accessible.

As our technical reference, we have chosen level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, an international standard developed by the international organisation W3C.

2.Compliance status#

The website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA: the issues listed under Known issues have not yet been fixed.

This assessment is based on a self-assessment carried out as of 01.10.2026. No external (independent) audit has been carried out yet.

3.Measures already in place#

  • At the top of every page there is a “Skip to main content” link that lets you bypass the menu.
  • The website can be navigated using the keyboard.
  • Pages can be zoomed in the browser up to 500%.
  • The page layout is adapted to phones, with no horizontal scrolling.
  • Texts are available in three languages (Armenian, Russian, English), and the language of each page is declared so that screen readers pronounce the text correctly.
  • Pages have a logical heading structure.
  • Listing photos have alternative text.

4.Known issues#

Below are the issues we have not yet fixed:

  • Some form fields are not yet programmatically associated with their labels, so a screen reader may not announce what the field is for.
  • Some grey texts do not have sufficient contrast against the background.
  • Some icons (for example, on buttons) have no text label.
  • Error messages are not always announced to screen readers.
  • The alternative text of listing photos is currently just the listing title and does not describe what the photo shows.

5.Plan for improvement#

We plan to fix these issues in upcoming updates of the website, giving priority to forms (registration, login, posting a listing, ordering) and to text contrast.

  • Changes will be tested with a screen reader and with the keyboard only.
  • Accessibility checks will be included in the testing of new features.
  • We will update this statement after each significant fix.

6.Feedback#

If you have difficulty using any part of the website, or if you would like content in another format (for example, one of our documents as plain text), write to support@impaharan.am not yet active and include:

  • the address or name of the page;
  • a description of the problem;
  • the device, browser and assistive technology (for example, a screen reader) you use, if any.

We will reply within 10 working days and, where possible, offer an alternative solution (for example, by helping you carry out the action you need).

7.Complaints#

If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may file a complaint as described on the Complaints and Disputes page, and you may also turn to the competent public authorities or to the courts.
