1.What is a cookie?#

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Your browser sends it back to the website with subsequent requests. This makes it possible, for example, to keep you signed in or to remember your chosen language.

“First-party” cookies are set by the website you are visiting, while “third-party” cookies are set by other companies (for example, advertising or analytics services). Im Paharan uses only first-party cookies.

A “session” cookie is deleted when you close your browser, while a “persistent” cookie is kept until the expiry date set for it.

2.Cookies we use#

All cookies are set by Im Paharan itself, and all of them are strictly necessary to provide the service you have requested. Over an HTTPS connection (which the website uses), the cookie names receive a security prefix, shown in brackets.

paharan.session_token (over HTTPS: __Secure-paharan.session_token)
Keeps you signed in to your account. Set only after you sign in. Not accessible to page scripts (HttpOnly) and not sent with requests from other websites (SameSite=Lax). Expires no later than 30 days after your last visit. When you sign out, or sign out a device from your settings, the session is deleted on our server and the cookie stops working immediately.
NEXT_LOCALE
Remembers your chosen language (hy: Armenian, ru: Russian, en: English). Session cookie.

The sign-in cookie contains only a random identifier signed by our server: it contains neither your password nor any other personal data. None of these cookies contains your password.

3.What we do not use#

The website does not use:

  • audience analytics services;
  • advertising or targeting cookies;
  • social media buttons or embedded content;
  • any third-party tracking technology (tracking pixels, browser fingerprinting);
  • your browser’s local storage.

The website’s fonts are hosted on our own server. When you visit the website, your browser does not contact any external service, so your IP address is not passed to third parties.

4.Managing cookies#

You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

Because all of these cookies are necessary for the website to work, if you block them you will not be able to sign in to your account and your chosen language will not be remembered. You will still be able to browse the catalogue.

The website has no cookie consent banner, because it uses only cookies that are necessary to provide the service you have requested, and they are not used for any other purpose. This is consistent with the principles of proportionality and data minimisation set out in the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Protection of Personal Data” No. HO-49-N of 18 May 2015.

If analytics or advertising cookies are ever added in the future, they will be set only with your prior consent, and this page will be updated before they are used.

5.Changes#

Date of this version: 01.10.2026.

Any change to the list of cookies will be reflected on this page in advance. This is a provisional text currently undergoing legal review. This Policy is published in Armenian, Russian and English; the Armenian version prevails.

6.Contact#

For any question about cookies or the processing of your data, write to privacy@impaharan.am not yet active.

Full details of how we process your data are set out in the Privacy Policy.
