1.What you can sell#
These rules form an integral part of the Terms of Use and are binding on every member who publishes a listing on the Im Paharan platform. They are based on the legislation of the Republic of Armenia. The Armenian version prevails.
Im Paharan is intended for the sale of new or used items that belong to the seller and that the seller is entitled to sell. For example, you may sell:
- women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, shoes, bags and accessories
- personal jewellery and watches (see Jewellery)
- children’s items, toys and baby gear
- home items: decoration, textiles, tableware, household appliances, tools
- books, magazines, music and films on physical media
- electronics: phones, computers, cameras, game consoles (see Electronics)
- sports and leisure equipment, musical instruments, board games, collectibles
- pet supplies, but not animals (see Pet supplies)
- designer items — originals only (see Counterfeits)
An item may be new or used, but it must actually exist, be in your possession and be ready to be handed over or shipped at the moment it is sold.
1.1What does not belong in the catalogue#
The catalogue is for items only. You may not publish listings concerning:
- services (repairs, tailoring, lessons, beauty services, delivery, etc.)
- rentals or lending for temporary use, including clothing rental
- real estate: flats, houses, land, garages
- cars, motorcycles and other vehicles subject to state registration (bicycles and scooters are allowed)
- job offers and job searches
- digital goods: software keys, licences, downloadable files, e-books, subscriptions
- accounts (gaming, social media and other services), promo codes and virtual currencies
- tickets, gift cards, vouchers and discount coupons
- “wanted” or “swap” listings, and any listing that does not offer a specific item for sale
2.Listing rules#
A listing must help the buyer make an informed decision. As the seller, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
- Honest description. State what the item is, its brand (if known), size, colour, material and other essential features. Do not state anything you are not sure about.
- Condition and defects. Choose the item’s real condition from the list offered for its category (for example “New with tags”, “Very good”, “Satisfactory” or “Needs repair”) and describe every defect: stains, tears, scratches, missing parts, malfunctions. Defects must also be visible in the photos. A concealed defect may give rise to claims by the buyer (Articles 485–493 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Armenia).
- Your own photos. See Photos.
- One listing, one item. List each item separately. Several items may be sold in one listing only as a bundle at a single price, if the description lists every item in the bundle and all of them appear in the photos.
- The right category. Choose the category the item actually belongs to. Deliberately placing an item in another category to get around the rules or to influence search results is prohibited.
- Price in dram. The price is stated in Armenian dram (֏), as a whole number, and must be the item’s real price. It is prohibited to set a symbolic or placeholder price to attract attention, to state a different price in the description, or to state the price in a foreign currency.
- No extra charges. The service fee and the delivery cost are shown to the buyer before the order is confirmed (see the service fee page). Do not include them in the item price and do not ask the buyer for any additional payment.
- No comparisons with brands or misleading keywords. Do not add brand names or words unrelated to the item to the title or description (for example lists of well-known brands). A listing that compares the item with a brand (“X style”, “like X”, “inspired by X”) is refused automatically (see Checks before publication).
- No contact details or links. Do not include a phone number, email address, postal address, messenger or social media accounts, QR codes or external links in the listing, the photos or your profile. A phone number, an email address, a link or a bank card number in the title or description is refused automatically when the listing is saved. Discuss all questions about the item in the site’s messages.
- No advertising for other sites. It is prohibited to advertise other websites, shops, services or platforms, or to suggest completing the transaction outside Im Paharan.
- No duplicates. Do not list the same item more than once.
- Available items only. Do not keep an item in the catalogue if you can no longer sell it: hide or delete the listing in My listings. A professional seller who offers a model in several sizes or pieces keeps the quantity shown for each size up to date.
3.Photos#
- Upload only photos you have taken yourself of the item for sale. The photo must show the exact item the buyer will receive, not another item of the same model.
- Images taken from the internet, shop websites, catalogues or other sellers’ listings are prohibited. They mislead buyers and may infringe other people’s copyright.
- Photos must be clear, well lit and show the item from different angles, including the label, the size and any defects.
- Photos must not contain text or marks with contact details, links or advertising.
- Photos are compared automatically with those in other sellers’ listings: a photo already used by another seller places your listing under review before publication (see Listings placed under review).
3.1People and personal data#
A person’s face in a photo is personal data. In line with the principles of proportionality and data minimisation (Law of the Republic of Armenia on Personal Data Protection, HO-49-N of 18.05.2015, Article 5), and as a precaution, we set the following rules:
- Photos must not show a recognisable face — neither yours nor anyone else’s. If you show clothing being worn, crop the picture or cover the face.
- Photos of children are prohibited, including when a child is wearing the item for sale. Photograph children’s clothing without the child.
- Do not show other people’s data: vehicle number plates, documents, bank cards, addresses, parcel labels, screens with personal information.
Every uploaded photo is processed automatically and its metadata (such as GPS location and device model) is removed. The original file is not kept. However, we cannot remove what is visible in the image itself: that is your responsibility.
4.Prohibited items#
The sale of the items listed below is prohibited on Im Paharan, regardless of how they are presented, whether they are new or used, and whether the seller holds any permit for them. Armenian legislation either bans the sale of such items outright, or allows it only to licensed organisations or in designated places, or the items present a danger to people’s life and health.
References are to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (HO-199-N of 05.05.2021), the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Armenia and specific laws. The list is not exhaustive: any other item whose sale is prohibited by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia is also prohibited.
Selling or offering these items may carry administrative or criminal liability under the law. Such a listing will be removed, and the account may be suspended or closed. Where the law so provides, the information will be passed on to the competent authorities.
4.1Weapons, ammunition and explosives#
The Law of the Republic of Armenia on the Circulation of Weapons (HO-368-N of 05.10.2022) allows trade in weapons only by licensed organisations, prohibits sending weapons by post, and bans certain types for everyone. Unlawful circulation of weapons and ammunition is punishable under Articles 334–336 of the Criminal Code. The following are prohibited:
- firearms (including hunting, sporting, dismantled or non-working firearms), their essential parts (barrel, bolt, frame, etc.), ammunition, cartridges and their components
- gunpowder, explosives, detonators, grenades (including deactivated ones) and pyrotechnics: fireworks, firecrackers, signal flares, sparklers
- air (pneumatic) and gas weapons, including low-power ones: they may be sold only at licensed outlets
- bladed weapons: hunting, survival and combat knives, daggers, swords, bayonets, automatic (switchblade) and gravity knives
- knuckle-dusters, batons and clubs, boomerangs (except sports equipment)
- rubber-bullet (less-lethal) weapons, stun devices, tasers and electroshock pistols, pepper and gas sprays
- bows with a draw weight of more than 27 kgf and crossbows with a draw weight of more than 43 kgf
- realistic replicas and mock-ups of weapons, airsoft guns and pellets, toy guns that are hard to tell from real ones
Ordinary kitchen knives, tableware and household tools are not considered weapons. If you are not sure whether a knife or object is a weapon, do not list it.
4.2Narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances#
The Law of the Republic of Armenia on Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic (Psychoactive) Substances (HO-518-N of 26.12.2002) allows any activity involving them only under a licence and prohibits advertising them and sending them by post. Unlawful circulation is punishable under Article 393 and the following articles of the Criminal Code. The following are prohibited:
- narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their precursors, and psychoactive mixtures presented as “legal” or “natural”
- cannabis and any product derived from it, including CBD oils, drops, sweets and cosmetics
- seeds and seedlings of drug-producing plants, hallucinogenic mushrooms and their spores
- drug paraphernalia (bongs, cannabis grinders and other accessories offered for such purposes)
- medicines with psychotropic effects (see also Medicines)
4.3Medicines and medical products#
Under Articles 23 and 25 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Medicines (HO-86-N of 17.05.2016), medicines may be sold only by licence holders, and retail sale and delivery are carried out only through pharmacies. This rule also applies to over-the-counter medicines. The following are prohibited:
- medicines, prescription and non-prescription, including unopened, in-date or imported ones
- veterinary medicines and vaccines
- medical devices and equipment (for example syringes, tests, hearing aids, glucose meters, blood pressure monitors, medical instruments)
- dietary supplements, vitamins and sports nutrition
- contact lenses (including cosmetic ones) and lens solutions
- products presented as slimming, potency-enhancing or “healing” remedies
4.4Tobacco, alcohol and food#
Tobacco products, their substitutes and accessories may be sold only with the permit required by law, and advertising or promoting them is prohibited in any form (Law of the Republic of Armenia HO-92-N of 13.02.2020). Selling alcoholic beverages requires a permit, and spirits and wine must bear excise stamps, which are issued only to organisations and individual entrepreneurs. A private seller cannot guarantee the safety of food. The following are prohibited:
- tobacco and tobacco products: cigarettes, cigars, pipe and rolling tobacco, hookah tobacco
- e-cigarettes, vapes, their liquids and cartridges, heated tobacco devices and sticks
- nicotine pouches and any other nicotine-containing product
- hookahs and their accessories, smoking pipes, rolling papers and filters, other tobacco accessories, and imitations of tobacco products
- alcoholic beverages: wine, beer, spirits, liqueurs, including home-made ones (vodka, wine)
- energy drinks
- any food and drink, sealed or opened, home-made or factory-made (sweets, honey, preserves, spices, tea, coffee, water, etc.)
- infant formula and any other kind of baby food (see also Feeding)
- pet food and pet treats (see Pet supplies)
4.5Animals and animal products#
In Armenia, animals may be sold only with a permit from the local self-government body and with additional documents (Law of the Republic of Armenia on the Responsible Treatment of Animals, HO-123-N of 25.03.2026). Wild animals, including many species of rodents, fish and birds, as well as their parts and products, are regulated by the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Fauna (HO-52 of 03.04.2000). Im Paharan cannot ensure that these requirements are met, so the following are prohibited:
- live animals, without exception: dogs, cats, rodents, fish, birds, reptiles, amphibians, insects, spiders, snails, etc., including when offered “as a gift” or “for free”
- eggs for breeding and animal semen
- wild or protected animals (including those listed in the Red Book), their parts and products
- ivory and ivory items, stuffed animals and birds (taxidermy), exotic animal skins (snake, crocodile, etc.), tortoiseshell
- seashells, coral, starfish and other remains of marine animals
- hunting trophies: antlers and horns, tusks, skulls, pelts
- furs of protected species and items made from them
The Pet supplies section accepts only items for animals: collars, toys, beds, aquariums, cages, etc. Clothing and accessories made of leather, wool and fur from non-protected species are allowed.
4.6Cultural and historical property#
Illegal excavation and the unlawful appropriation of archaeological or palaeontological finds, as well as the smuggling of cultural property, are criminal offences (Articles 303 and 292 of the Criminal Code). The following are prohibited:
- archaeological and palaeontological finds, objects obtained from excavations or found with a metal detector (coins, jewellery, vessels, weapon parts, fossils)
- objects from the collections of museums, archives and state or community libraries
- church objects and manuscripts whose origin is doubtful or cannot be established
- parts and fragments of monuments, khachkars and their fragments, gravestones
Antiques, old books, stamps and icons of lawful origin may be sold under certain conditions: see Antiques and cultural property.
4.7Money, state awards and precious metals#
Making and passing counterfeit money is a criminal offence (Article 267 of the Criminal Code). The Armenian dram also includes commemorative coins issued by the Central Bank, and buying and selling foreign currency is allowed only for licensed organisations (Law of the Republic of Armenia on Currency Regulation, HO-135-N of 24.11.2004). Buying and selling state awards by persons who were not awarded them is prohibited (Law of the Republic of Armenia on State Awards, HO-100-N of 21.06.2014, Article 46), and buying and selling orders and medals of the Republic of Armenia and the USSR is punishable (Article 184 of the Code of Administrative Offences, Article 459 of the Criminal Code). The following are prohibited:
- counterfeit money, copies and imitations of banknotes and coins, including “souvenir” or “play” banknotes resembling real ones
- banknotes and coins that are in circulation or still exchangeable, in Armenian dram or in foreign currency, including commemorative coins issued in Armenian dram
- orders, medals, badges of honour and their ribbon bars of the Republic of Armenia and the USSR and, as a precaution, of any other state, including imitations and copies
- gold and other precious metals in bars, granules or as scrap
- cut but unset precious stones (diamonds, emeralds, rubies, sapphires, etc.)
Coins and banknotes that have been withdrawn from circulation and are no longer exchangeable may be sold as collectibles: see Collectible coins and banknotes.
4.8Documents, means of payment and accounts#
Passports and identity cards are the property of the Republic of Armenia. Unlawful dealings in documents conferring rights, seals, stamps and blank forms are punishable (Articles 456, 457 and 459 of the Criminal Code). Issuing and distributing payment cards is reserved for banks and payment institutions. The following are prohibited:
- passports, identity cards, driving licences, military service books and other identity documents, including expired or foreign ones
- official documents and their blank forms, certificates, diplomas, school certificates, medical certificates
- seals and stamps, excise and other revenue stamps
- vehicle registration number plates and registration documents
- bank and payment cards, chequebooks, securities, shares, bonds
- lottery tickets, including tickets for foreign lotteries, whose sale is prohibited in Armenia
- SIM cards, phone numbers, eSIM activation codes
- gift cards, vouchers, discount coupons, event and travel tickets
- accounts on any service, passwords, personal data databases and other data
4.9Counterfeits and intellectual property infringement#
Unlawful use of another person’s trademark infringes the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Trademarks (HO-59-N) and may lead to administrative or criminal liability. Only original goods may be sold. The following are prohibited:
- counterfeit designer goods, copies and “replicas”, and items labelled “1:1”, “luxury copy”, “AAA quality” and the like
- items presented under a well-known brand name as “X style”, “like X”, “inspired by X”, “копия” or similar
- fake labels, logos, certificates and branded packaging
- unlawful (pirated) copies of software, films, games, music and books, and devices or media loaded with such copies
For a designer item, Im Paharan may ask you for proof of authenticity (receipt, invoice, additional photos). If you are not sure the item is genuine, do not list it.
Sanctions. As a rule, a first listing removed for counterfeiting leads to at least a 30-day suspension of the account, and a repeat within 12 months leads to the closure of the account. Each decision is taken by a person, states its reasons and can be appealed (see Appealing a decision).
If you hold a trademark or other intellectual property right and believe a listing infringes your rights, write to legal@impaharan.am not yet active, giving the link to the listing, details proving your right and a description of the infringement.
4.10Adult material and hate propaganda#
Distributing pornographic material or objects over the internet, as well as incitement to hatred and violence, are criminal offences (Articles 300, 329 and 330 of the Criminal Code). The following are prohibited:
- pornographic material and objects: magazines, films, photos, in print or digital form
- any sexual content involving or depicting a minor: such material is removed immediately and the information is passed on to law enforcement
- sexual objects and intimate products, including new and packaged ones
- objects and material inciting national, racial, religious or other hatred, discrimination or violence
- material denying or justifying genocide, including the Armenian Genocide
- propaganda material and symbols of terrorist or violent extremist organisations
- objects bearing Nazi symbols, including historical ones
4.11Surveillance equipment and military goods#
Privacy of personal life and of communications is protected by law, and the circulation of military products is controlled by the state. The following are prohibited:
- hidden cameras and microphones (for example built into a watch, pen or charger), eavesdropping devices, tracking devices designed for covert installation
- signal jammers for mobile networks, GPS, Wi-Fi, etc.
- uncertified radio transmitters and radio stations
- software and devices for breaking into computer systems (hacking tools), devices for copying payment card data (skimmers)
- military products, military equipment parts, military drones, military night-vision and targeting devices, body armour
- current uniforms, insignia and badges of the army, police, rescue and other state services
4.12Hazardous substances and products#
Items that are dangerous to people’s life, health or the environment are prohibited, including items that may not be sent by post (Law of the Republic of Armenia on Postal Communication, HO-46-N, Article 20):
- hazardous chemicals, poisons, pesticides, acids, alkalis and chemical reagents
- fuel: petrol, diesel, kerosene and other flammable liquids
- gas cylinders (including camping ones) and other filled pressurised containers
- flammable, explosive and radioactive substances
- recalled products or products declared dangerous, and faulty electrical appliances that could cause a fire or an electric shock
- damaged, swollen or leaking batteries
4.13Other prohibited items#
- stolen or unlawfully obtained items, items of doubtful origin, and items you do not own (Article 295 of the Criminal Code)
- locked (blocked) phones and devices, devices reported stolen or lost, and devices with an altered or removed IMEI or serial number
- human remains, bones, organs, tissues, cells, blood, breast milk and other bodily fluids (Article 183 of the Criminal Code)
- opened, used or expired cosmetics and perfume (see Cosmetics and perfume)
- worn or used lingerie, underwear and socks: these items may be sold only new (with or without tags); pyjamas, nightwear and loungewear have their own categories and may be sold in the usual conditions
- used personal or intimate hygiene items (toothbrushes, razors, menstrual cups, etc.)
- any item whose sale, offer for sale or advertising is prohibited by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia
5.Items allowed under conditions#
The following items may be sold only if the stated conditions are met. Include in the description the information showing that the conditions are met. A listing that does not meet the conditions will be removed in the same way as a listing for a prohibited item.
5.1Collectible coins and banknotes#
The “Coins & banknotes” category is for collectibles only and is subject to the following rules:
- Only coins and banknotes that have been withdrawn from circulation and are no longer exchangeable are allowed, for example Soviet roubles.
- Selling any money that is in circulation or still exchangeable is prohibited, whether Armenian dram (including commemorative coins) or foreign currency, as are copies of banknotes and coins (see Money, state awards and precious metals).
- Coins obtained from excavations or found with a metal detector, and ancient coins of unknown origin, are prohibited (see Cultural and historical property).
- State the issuing country, year of issue and face value in the description.
If you are not sure that the money is no longer in circulation and no longer exchangeable, do not list it.
5.2Badges and memorabilia#
The “Memorabilia” category is subject to the following rules:
- Unofficial badges, sports, club and event medals, souvenir medallions, postcards, posters and other souvenirs are allowed, provided they are not state awards and do not imitate them.
- Orders, medals, badges of honour and their ribbon bars of the Republic of Armenia, the USSR or any other state, and their imitations and copies, are prohibited (see Money, state awards and precious metals).
- Current insignia of the army, police and other state services, and objects bearing Nazi symbols, are also prohibited.
5.3Child car seats#
In the “Car seats” category, child car seats may be sold only under the following conditions:
- the seat is complete, with all parts, harnesses and base (where applicable), and has no damage or cracks
- the seat has never been in an accident, not even a minor one
- the manufacturer’s period of use has not expired
- the seat’s approval (conformity) label and the user manual are present
- the description states the year of manufacture, the child’s weight or height group and the installation method
The buyer must check that the seat suits the child’s age, weight and height and fits the buyer’s car. Please note that under the road traffic rules, a child restraint appropriate to the child’s age and size is mandatory in the cases specified when children travel by car.
5.4Drones#
- Civilian drones are allowed if they have been reset to factory settings and unlinked from the seller’s account, so that the buyer can register them in their own name.
- State the drone’s model and weight in the description.
- Military drones and their parts are prohibited.
For buyers: flying a drone weighing more than 250 grams, flying above 120 metres, and flying near airfields or in border areas require a permit from the Civil Aviation Committee of the Republic of Armenia. The drone’s operator is responsible for complying with the flight rules.
5.5Feeding#
The “Feeding” category is subject to the requirements of the Armenian law regulating the circulation of baby food (HO-177-N of 20.11.2014):
- Feeding bottles and teats may be sold only new, in their unopened original packaging and before their expiry date. Used or opened bottles and teats are prohibited.
- Article 12 of that law prohibits any advertising or promotion of infant formula, feeding bottles and teats. Listings in this category therefore cannot be bumped and are not shown in the paid “Wardrobe spotlight” placements. The site automatically refuses these services for this category.
- Infant formula and baby food are prohibited as food (see Tobacco, alcohol and food).
- Other feeding items (children’s tableware, bibs, high chairs, sterilisers, bottle warmers) may be sold if clean and undamaged.
5.6Cosmetics and perfume#
- Cosmetics, care products and perfume may be sold only new and unopened, in their original packaging (film-wrapped or sealed) and before their expiry date.
- Opened, tested, partly used, decanted or expired products are prohibited, as are samples not intended for sale.
- Perfume and aerosols (hairsprays, deodorants, sprays) may be flammable, and sending flammable substances by post is prohibited (Law of the Republic of Armenia on Postal Communication, HO-46-N, Article 20). Before shipping, check the carrier’s conditions or choose hand delivery.
5.7Jewellery#
- A private individual may sell their own personal jewellery, including gold and silver jewellery.
- State the metal, fineness and weight accurately in the description, if known. Do not present a piece as gold or silver unless you are sure.
- A professional seller (Pro) may sell items made of precious metals only with the hallmark and marks required by law (Law of the Republic of Armenia on Precious Metals, HO-83-N, Article 8).
- Gold in bars or as scrap and unset precious stones are prohibited (see Money, state awards and precious metals).
5.8Antiques and cultural property#
- Antiques, old books, stamps, postcards, icons and other collectibles may be sold within Armenia if they are your lawful property and their origin raises no doubt.
- State in the description what you know about the item’s origin (inheritance, purchase, etc.).
- Archaeological finds, objects from museum, archive and library collections, church objects and manuscripts of doubtful origin, khachkars and fragments of monuments are prohibited (see Cultural and historical property).
Exporting cultural property from Armenia requires an expert assessment and a permit (Law of the Republic of Armenia on the Export and Import of Cultural Property, HO-176-N of 06.12.2004). The law sets no age threshold: cultural property is not limited to very old items. A buyer who intends to take an item out of Armenia must check the export conditions beforehand. Unlawful export may be treated as smuggling (Article 292 of the Criminal Code).
5.9Electronics#
- The device must be reset to factory settings, cleared of your personal data and unlinked from your accounts (including device-finding and locking features), so that the buyer can use it.
- The device must not be locked by an operator or an account, and must not be reported stolen or lost.
- State in the description every fault, the battery condition, and whether the device has been repaired or contains non-original parts.
- Batteries must be in good condition, with no swelling, leaks or overheating.
5.10Pet supplies#
- The “Pet supplies” section accepts only items for animals: collars, leashes, clothing, toys, beds, houses, cages, aquariums, carriers, bowls, etc.
- Listing any animal is prohibited, including rodents, fish, birds, reptiles and insects (see Animals and animal products). A listing for an animal will be removed even if it is worded as “a gift” or “for free”.
- Pet food, treats, supplements and veterinary medicines are prohibited.
- Used supplies must be clean and disinfected.
6.Private individuals and professional sellers#
Im Paharan is open both to private individuals selling their personal belongings (things they bought for themselves or their family and no longer use) and to verified professional sellers: individual entrepreneurs and organisations.
If you sell as an activity — for example, you buy items in order to resell them, make items for sale, or regularly sell new goods — then under Article 15.1(4) of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Trade and Services (HO-134-N of 24.11.2004) you must:
- be registered as an individual entrepreneur or act on behalf of an organisation
- issue electronic cash register receipts for your sales
- obtain verified Pro status, so that buyers can see they are buying from a professional seller
- meet the obligations that consumer protection law places on professional sellers (see the Terms of Use)
Hiding professional seller status and presenting yourself as a private individual is prohibited, as it misleads buyers (Law of the Republic of Armenia on Consumer Rights Protection, Article 37.2). Im Paharan may ask you for clarification or registration details if the nature of your sales indicates a business activity.
Professional seller status is granted after the registration details and documents have been checked (Pro and Shop terms). A seller without a “Pro”, “Shop” or “Official shop” badge is a private individual. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your status and for meeting your tax obligations.
7.Checks before publication#
To protect buyers, every listing goes through automatic checks when it is saved (when it is published or edited). These checks do not guarantee that no unlawful listing will ever appear on the site: reports from members remain essential (see How to report a breach).
7.1Listings refused immediately#
A listing is refused as soon as it is saved, with a message explaining the reason, if its title or description contains:
- a phone number, an email address, a link or a bank card number
- a comparison with a brand, such as “X style”, “like X” or “inspired by X”, in any language (for example “в стиле X”, “под X”, “X-ի ոճով”)
- words indicating a copy, such as “replica”, “копия” or “1:1” (see Counterfeits)
Correct the listing and save it again.
7.2Listings placed under review#
In certain cases, a listing is not refused but placed under review before publication: it remains invisible to other members until a moderator decides, within 48 hours. You are informed of the reason in “My messages with the team”. While the listing is under review, you can edit it: if the problem disappears, the listing is published automatically. The moderator either approves the listing as it is or removes it; a removal states its reasons and can be appealed (see Appealing a decision).
A listing is placed under review in the following cases:
- A photo already used by another seller. Photos are compared automatically with those in other sellers’ listings, using the exact fingerprint of the file and a visual fingerprint that also recognises a photo that has been resized or re-saved. Only your own photos of the item for sale are allowed (see Photos).
- Luxury brand (private individuals): the listing is checked by a person before publication.
- High price (private individuals): a price above 1 000 000 ֏, or above 150 000 ֏ for a new account (see New accounts).
- Abnormally low price (private individuals): a mobile phone under 20 000 ֏, a game console under 15 000 ֏ or an item of a luxury brand under 20 000 ֏, unless its condition is “Needs repair”.
Checks based on the brand and the price apply only to private individuals, never to verified professional sellers (“Pro”, “Shop”, “Official shop”). The amounts shown are those currently in force; they may change, and this page always shows the current values.
7.3New accounts#
An account is considered new while it is less than 7 days old or has not yet completed a sale. A new account of a private individual may have at most 10 listings online or under review at the same time. This limit is lifted with the first completed sale, once the account is more than 7 days old.
8.Enforcement and breaches#
Each seller is responsible for the lawfulness of their listing and item: Im Paharan is not a party to the sales contract (Article 416.2 of the Civil Code). Im Paharan does not review every listing manually, but every listing goes through automatic checks when it is saved (see Checks before publication). These checks do not guarantee that no unlawful listing will appear: Im Paharan acts on breaches that come to its attention, in particular through members’ reports, and removes manifestly unlawful content without delay (Article 780.1 of the Civil Code).
8.1If in doubt#
If you are not sure whether an item is allowed, do not list it and ask the team first from your account (“Help” section, “Write to the team”). The lists in these rules are not exhaustive: any item whose sale is prohibited by Armenian legislation is prohibited.
Attempts to get around the rules are also breaches: deliberately misspelling an item’s name, using code words, choosing the wrong category, or offering a prohibited item as a “free gift” with another item.
8.2How to report a breach#
If you see a listing that breaks these rules, use the “Report” button on the listing (the same button is on every profile, shop page, message received and review): choose the reason and, if necessary, add details. People without an account, or whose account is suspended, can write to support@impaharan.am not yet active, including:
- the link to the listing
- a description of the breach and, if possible, the rule broken
- screenshots, if needed
You are informed of the outcome of your report in “My messages with the team”. Reports are handled within the following time frames:
- Urgent cases (children, weapons, drugs, danger to life or health)
- the listing is hidden immediately and the report is handled within 24 hours
- Prohibited items, counterfeits, fraud
- within 48 hours
- Other cases
- within 5 working days
8.3Measures we may take#
If the rules are broken, depending on the seriousness and recurrence of the breach, Im Paharan may:
- remove or hide the listing or part of it (for example a photo)
- send a warning
- restrict certain account features (for example publishing new listings)
- temporarily suspend the account
- close the account in the event of serious or repeated breaches
For serious breaches (weapons, drugs, content endangering children’s safety), the account may be closed without prior warning. For counterfeits, see also Counterfeits. See the Terms of Use for details.
Removed listings are not deleted immediately: they are hidden and kept for at least 6 months so that complaints can be examined and evidence preserved.
8.4Appealing a decision#
You will be notified of every decision concerning you in “My messages with the team”, with the decision, the reason for it and the rule broken. Im Paharan does not apply hidden restrictions.
If you disagree with a decision, you may appeal within 14 days of receiving it by replying to it in “My messages with the team” and setting out your arguments; if your account is suspended and you cannot sign in, write to support@impaharan.am not yet active. Where possible, the appeal is reviewed by someone who did not take the original decision. You also keep the other complaint and dispute resolution options and the right to go to court.
8.5Competent authorities#
If a listing or a member’s conduct shows signs of a criminal offence, Im Paharan preserves the relevant data and, where the law so provides, informs law enforcement. Data are provided to the competent authorities only in the manner prescribed by law (see the Privacy Policy).
8.6Updates to these rules#
These rules may be updated when the law or the platform’s features change, following the procedure set out in the Terms of Use. The Armenian version prevails. Version date: 09.10.2026.
